Jodhpur Invasion and the Refusal to Partition Bikaner(1746 – 1747)

On Gaj Singh's accession in 1746 his brother Amar Singh defected to Jodhpur, bringing a Marwar army to Bikaner's walls. The months-long standoff ended when Gaj Singh refused to partition the state.
